Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Apparition by Yasuyuki Nishio was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 48,000.00 (€ 4,821.32), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yasuyuki Nishio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Minsk in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 3,607,500.00 (€ 296,992.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Apparition von Yasuyuki Nishio wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 4.821,32) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yasuyuki Nishio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Minsk im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.607.500,00 (€ 296.992,77).
