Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Leopard Plant by Yasuo Kazuki was sold in the Modern Discoveries auction at Sothebys in New York in March last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,543.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Yasuo Kazuki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cha No Mi (Nuts Of Tea) in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,782.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Leopard Plant von Yasuo Kazuki wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Discoveries bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.543,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yasuo Kazuki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cha No Mi (Nuts Of Tea) im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 22.782,50).
