Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work The confrontation by Yasmin Sison. The price achieved of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,791.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Yasmin Sison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Into the woods (Rabbit) in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,230.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The confrontation von Yasmin Sison zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.791,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yasmin Sison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Into the woods (Rabbit) im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.230,82).
