Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Ebb And Flow by Yasmin Sison. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,558.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Yasmin Sison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Into the woods (Rabbit) was auctioned for HKD 391,500.00 (€ 32,230.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ebb And Flow von Yasmin Sison zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.558,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Yasmin Sison konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Into the woods (Rabbit) für HKD 391.500,00 (€ 32.230,82) versteigert.
