Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Bowl of Taipei No. 1 by Yang Yongliang was sold in the Handle With Care auction at Phillips in an online auction in February 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,416.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Yongliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Snow City Series (Set Of Four) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,781.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Bowl of Taipei No. 1 von Yang Yongliang wurde im Februar 2019 in der Auktion Handle With Care bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.416,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Yongliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Snow City Series (Set Of Four) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.781,94).
