Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Reading Under The Pine by Yang Borun was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 11,800.00 (€ 1,437.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Yang Borun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pine Gove At The Bay in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,391.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Reading Under The Pine von Yang Borun kam im November 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 11.800,00 (€ 1.437,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Yang Borun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pine Gove At The Bay im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.391,00).
