This artwork by Yang Borun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in March last year. In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale auction, the work Landscapes after Old Masters, 1889 sold for USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,470.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Yang Borun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Pine Gove At The Bay sold at auction in May 2016 with the realized price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,391.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Borun erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Landscapes after Old Masters, 1889 für USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.470,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Yang Borun; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Pine Gove At The Bay im Mai 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.391,00).
