A top price for Yang Borun
This artwork by Yang Borun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Pine Gove At The Bay sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,391.00) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. This high result makes Pine Gove At The Bay the most expensive artwork by Yang Borun that we have observed at auctions so far.
