Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Yan Lei achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Back From Grazing sold for HKD 25,300.00 (€ 2,604.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yan Lei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arrival: New York No. 1 in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 1,100,000.00 (€ 114,590.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yan Lei erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Back From Grazing für HKD 25.300,00 (€ 2.604,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yan Lei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arrival: New York No. 1 im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.100.000,00 (€ 114.590,75).
