Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wu Yu Ze Gang (Without Desire You Are Stronger) by Xue Song was auctioned at Christies in London in October last year. The price achieved of GBP 6,048.00 (€ 7,045.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).

Die Arbeit Wu Yu Ze Gang (Without Desire You Are Stronger) von Xue Song kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.048,00 (€ 7.045,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
