In September 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California, which included the work Untitled, 1998 by Xue Song. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,709.25), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).

Im September 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled, 1998 von Xue Song zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 7.709,25) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
