Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Serve The People, 2000 by Xue Song was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 6,375.00 (€ 5,506.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xue Song achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei in September this year with an auction result of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24).

Die Arbeit Serve The People, 2000 von Xue Song kam im September 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.375,00 (€ 5.506,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xue Song erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rivers and Mountains After Snow—A Tribute to Wang Wei im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24).
