Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xu Zhao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Scenery Of Mount Huang sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,497.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xu Zhao; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape After Ni Zan sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xu Zhao erzielte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Scenery Of Mount Huang für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.497,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Xu Zhao; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape After Ni Zan im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.738,23).
