Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Picking Flowers by Xu Zhao was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,688.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Xu Zhao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Ni Zan in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Picking Flowers von Xu Zhao wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.688,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Zhao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Ni Zan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.738,23).
