Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine And Peony by Xu Zhao was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,426.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xu Zhao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Ni Zan in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 25,738.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine And Peony von Xu Zhao wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.426,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xu Zhao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Ni Zan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 25.738,23).
