Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemums by Xu Gu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 26,095.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Gu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chrysanthemums And Peaches in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 6,700,000.00 (€ 737,414.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemums von Xu Gu wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 26.095,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Gu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chrysanthemums And Peaches im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.700.000,00 (€ 737.414,15).
