Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholar Under Tree by Xu Bangda was sold in the Chinese Paintings Online auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in February 2021. The price achieved of HKD 22,950.00 (€ 2,446.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scholar Under Tree von Xu Bangda wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.950,00 (€ 2.446,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71).
