Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Xu Bangda was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,609.58). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xu Bangda wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.609,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71).
