Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xu Bangda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Misty Pine Mountains sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 70,542.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Xu Bangda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xu Bangda erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Misty Pine Mountains für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 70.542,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Xu Bangda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71).
