The work Landscapes After Qing Artists by Xu Bangda was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 275,000.00 (€ 32,361.80), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Bangda - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments, which sold at auction in November 2018 for HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).

Die Arbeit Landscapes After Qing Artists von Xu Bangda wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 32.361,80) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Bangda mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments beobachtet, die im November 2018 für HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71) versteigert wurde.
