Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Xu Bangda. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,892.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Xu Bangda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.892,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71).
