Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy by Xu Bangda was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,897.51). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Bangda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Xu Bangda kam im März 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.897,51) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Bangda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape Inpired by Tang Sentiments im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71).
