Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Warm Feelings by Xing Cheng'Ai was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 13,036.53). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xing Cheng'Ai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Friends, which sold at auction in December 2015 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,973.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Warm Feelings von Xing Cheng'Ai kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 13.036,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xing Cheng'Ai mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Friends beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.973,02) versteigert wurde.
