The work Two Cats under Maple Tree by Xing Cheng'Ai was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,804.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 220,000.00 – 280,000.00. Other works by Xing Cheng'Ai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2015 the work Friends was auctioned for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 51,973.02).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.804,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 220.000,00 – 280.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Xing Cheng'Ai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2015 die Arbeit Friends für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 51.973,02) versteigert.
