Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Overlay No. 045; & Overlay No. 050 by Xie Molin was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 34,820.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xie Molin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Overlay No. 061 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Overlay No. 045; & Overlay No. 050 von Xie Molin kam im April 2017 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 34.820,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xie Molin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Overlay No. 061 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57).
