Auction result well in line with expectations
The work He (Diptych) by Xie Molin was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 124,128.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Xie Molin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Overlay No. 061 was auctioned for HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit He (Diptych) von Xie Molin wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 124.128,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Xie Molin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Overlay No. 061 für HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57) versteigert.
