Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boating Amid Evening Mountains by Xiao Xun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,187.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 160,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiao Xun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Album in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 649,000.00 (€ 76,373.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Boating Amid Evening Mountains von Xiao Xun kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.187,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Xun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Album im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 649.000,00 (€ 76.373,84).
