Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monumental Landscape, 1935 by Xiao Xun was sold in the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 127,500.00 (€ 13,765.90). Admittedly, works by Xiao Xun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape Album in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 649,000.00 (€ 76,373.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monumental Landscape, 1935 von Xiao Xun wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 127.500,00 (€ 13.765,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Xun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape Album im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 649.000,00 (€ 76.373,84).
