This artwork by Xiao Sun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,703.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiao Sun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,406.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xiao Sun erzielte im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.703,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiao Sun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.406,81) versteigert wurde.
