The work Landscape by Xiao Junxian was sold in the The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,120.12), 49% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Junxian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pine Trees in April this year with an auction result of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 67,398.91).

Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiao Junxian wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion The Beauty of Brushes - A Selection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy 3 bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.120,12) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Junxian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pine Trees im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 67.398,91).
