Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Xiao Haichun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 6,844.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiao Haichun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 47,105.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscapes von Xiao Haichun kam im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 6.844,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Haichun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 47.105,02).
