A top price for Xiao Haichun - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Xiao Haichun was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 47,105.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Xiao Haichun that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiao Haichun wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 47.105,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xiao Haichun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
