Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscapes by Xiao Haichun. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,743.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiao Haichun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 47,105.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Xiao Haichun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.743,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiao Haichun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 47.105,02).
