This artwork by Xia Junna achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Pink Vocation; Autumn Dance; & Pavilion sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 21,508.60) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xia Junna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 708,000.00 (€ 84,883.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xia Junna erzielte im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Pink Vocation; Autumn Dance; & Pavilion für HKD 250.000,00 (€ 21.508,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Xia Junna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 708.000,00 (€ 84.883,95) versteigert wurde.
