The work Celebration 2 by Xia Junna was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 33,749.24), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xia Junna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 708,000.00 (€ 84,883.95).

Die Arbeit Celebration 2 von Xia Junna wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 33.749,24) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Xia Junna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 708.000,00 (€ 84.883,95) versteigert wurde.
