A top price for Xia Junna - as previously expected
The work Evening by Xia Junna was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2013. The price achieved of CNY 708,000.00 (€ 84,883.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Evening is the most expensive artwork by Xia Junna that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Evening von Xia Junna kam im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 708.000,00 (€ 84.883,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Evening das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xia Junna, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
