The work Celebration 1 by Xia Junna was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. It achieved a price of HKD 384,000.00 (€ 38,570.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xia Junna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 708,000.00 (€ 84,883.95).

Die Arbeit Celebration 1 von Xia Junna kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 384.000,00 (€ 38.570,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Für andere Arbeiten von Xia Junna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 708.000,00 (€ 84.883,95) versteigert wurde.
