Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reed On the Riverbank by Shiy De-Jinn was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings auction at POLY in August last year. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 29,872.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reed On the Riverbank von Shiy De-Jinn wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings - Contemporary Chinese Classical Paintings & Contemporary Chinese New Paintings bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 29.872,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
