This artwork by Shiy De-Jinn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in December last year. In the Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! auction, the work Village Scene, 1956 sold for USD 12,750.00 (€ 11,918.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 82 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shiy De-Jinn erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! wurde die Arbeit Village Scene, 1956 für USD 12.750,00 (€ 11.918,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
