A top price for Shiy De-Jinn
This artwork by Shiy De-Jinn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction, the work Young Girl sold for HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,000,000.00. This high result makes Young Girl the most expensive artwork by Shiy De-Jinn that we have observed at auctions so far.
