It achieved a price of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,534.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shiy De-Jinn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Girl in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 5,480,000.00 (€ 644,882.32).

Die Arbeit Waterfront Scene, 1957 von Shiy De-Jinn kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.534,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shiy De-Jinn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Girl im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.480.000,00 (€ 644.882,32).
