Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work 'Nude Behind Cobwebbed Window' by Wynn Bullock for USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,422.41). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,500.00 – 4,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Wynn Bullock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selected Images in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,856.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Nude Behind Cobwebbed Window' von Wynn Bullock für USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.422,41) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wynn Bullock auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.856,49).
