This artwork by Wu Yiming achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2018. In the Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition auction, the work Untitled (Hanfu) sold for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,213.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Yiming - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man With A Club 2, which sold at auction in October 2010 for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,284.58).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Yiming erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: New York Edition wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Hanfu) für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.213,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Yiming mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man With A Club 2 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2010 für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.284,58) versteigert wurde.
