Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Weiye achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2005. In the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction, the work Ode To Diaoqiao Zhuang In Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 180,000.00 (€ 19,694.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Weiye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,670,000.00 (€ 632,948.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Weiye erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY wurde die Arbeit Ode To Diaoqiao Zhuang In Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 180.000,00 (€ 19.694,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Weiye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.670.000,00 (€ 632.948,36).
