Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Wu Weiye achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,913.70) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Weiye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,670,000.00 (€ 632,948.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Wu Weiye erzielte im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.913,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Weiye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.670.000,00 (€ 632.948,36).
