Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Wu Weiye was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,679.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Weiye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 6,670,000.00 (€ 632,948.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Wu Weiye kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.679,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Weiye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.670.000,00 (€ 632.948,36).
