Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape After Dong Yuan by Wu Jingting was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 68,750 (€ 8,090) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 60,000 - 80,000. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wu Jingting - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work , which sold at auction in April 2009 for HKD 225,000 (€ 21,916).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape After Dong Yuan von Wu Jingting wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 68.750 (€ 8.090) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000 – 80.000 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wu Jingting mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit beobachtet, die im April 2009 für HKD 225.000 (€ 21.916) versteigert wurde.
