WU JINGTING (1904-1972) Landscapes Album of eight leaves, ink and colour on paper Each leaf measures 30.8 x 33 cm. (12 1 ⁄ 8 x 13 in.) Each leaf inscribed and signed, with a total of eight seals Colophon inscribed and signed by Xu Zonghao (1880-1957), with three seals of the artist Dedicated to Danlin (Lu Danlin, 1896-1972) Titleslip inscribed and signed by Xu Zonghao, with one seal Dated winter, tenth month, jimao year (1939)
Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscapes by Wu Jingting was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 107,100 (€ 12,715) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as HKD 80,000 - 120,000. Other works by Wu Jingting have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2009 the work was auctioned for HKD 225,000 (€ 21,916).

Die Arbeit Landscapes von Wu Jingting kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 107.100 (€ 12.715) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000 – 120.000 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Jingting konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2009 die Arbeit für HKD 225.000 (€ 21.916) versteigert.
