Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Village, 1973 by Wu Hao was sold in the Chinese Painting20th Century & Beyond Part II auction at Bonhams in Sydney in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 967.50) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Village, 1973 von Wu Hao wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Painting20th Century & Beyond Part II bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.024,00 (€ 967,50) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
