Artwork auctioned at 26 times the upper estimate price
The work Literatis by Wu Hao was worth HKD 132,000.00 (€ 14,683.17) to a buyer in October 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy at China Guardian and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Wu Hao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in April this year with an auction result of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 61,271.74).

Die Arbeit Literatis von Wu Hao war einem Käufer im Oktober 2021 HKD 132.000,00 (€ 14.683,17) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wu Hao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 61.271,74).
